An Meitheal Mór – Global Citizens Together
A Per Cent for Art Commission at Scoil San Phroinsias N.S. for Department of Education and Skills and in association with Music Generation Galway City and the Contemporary Music Centre, Ireland, with support from Galway City Council Arts Office. A collection of five new pieces were created, two of which had to be finished remotely as a lockdown project following the Covid-19 restrictions which came into force just at the most crucial part of the project. The Story of Stroke Odysseys in Derry
Working in collaboration with Rosetta Life and composer Orlando Gough to produce this music project with Derry’s Stroke Community. These 12 songs, all drawn from individual experiences of Stroke, were performed at Derry Playhouse 4/5 November 2013. The project offers public voice to a community that illness and ignorance has silenced for too long.
