Wall2Wall Music is a Community Interest Company Limited by Guarantee. It’s principle activities are to deliver creative music workshops for people of all ages and to provide training for community music facilitators. The company is established on a not-for-profit basis for the benefit in particular of communities in the North West of Ireland but also communities throughout the island of Ireland
Paola Capatti
Paola has a masters degree in Conference Interpreting from the University of Bologna and arrived in Derry/Londonderry 6 years ago. She worked as a Marketing and Administration Assistant for Music 55-7 and she is currently one of the organisers of the City of Derry Guitar Festival. She has a strong interest in the arts and also teaches Italian in her spare time. She has collaborated with Wall2Wall Music since 2011 focusing in particular on the City of Hope Collective project
Anne McTaggert
Anne is currently Development Manager with Youth Action Northern Ireland. As a senior manager with Youth Action Anne helps inspire young people to find their true potential and excel in areas such as political activism, performing arts, youth work, education, business, technology and international affairs. Anne also has extensive experience in the community and voluntary sector across Northern Ireland
Sarah Murphy
Sarah studied at the Guildhall School of Music with Philippa Davies, Kathryn Lukas and Edward Beckett. She has had a wide and varied musical life as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral musician and teacher. She has performed at many festivals and venues around Europe with leading musicians. Some of her personal musical highlights include: sell out performances with Juan Martin at London’s South Bank Centre; performing with the Brodsky Quartet in the Schleswig Holstein Festival; and performing at the Istanbul Festival in the spectacular 6th Century Church, Aya Irene which sits in the grounds of Topkapi Palace.
Kevin Murphy
Kevin studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Antony Pay, Jack Brymer, Joy Farrell and Julian Farrall and spent ten years as a professional musician in London. Currently he is a Creative Associate with Voluntary Arts Ireland, which provides a universal voice for everyday creativity and the needs of creative citizens across the island of Ireland and an independent consultant with Making Culture Together. Previously he was the Artistic Director of Music55-7. Kevin has served on the board of Opera Theatre Company and the Queen’s University Cultural Committee.
Seamus Devenny
Donegal native, Seamus attended NUI Maynooth in Co. Kildare and embraced the music scene in Dublin, performing and recording with many different acts in many genres from classical to metal for over a decade before returning to Donegal where he took up the post of modern drum set tutor and violin tutor for the VEC in Donegal. He has performed in many festivals and venues in Europe and the US, from Polish cathedrals to the underground folk clubs of Boston, From Glastonbury to Glasgowbury.
