Wall2Wall Music seeks freelance music facilitators

We are looking for a small number of freelance music facilitators/performers to join our team for a range of projects that will take place during City of Culture 2013. The schedule of projects is planned between April and November 2013 and includes community music events, workshops in schools and health care settings, and learning collaborations with other art forms. Please note these roles are on a freelance project basis and are not full-time posts.

We are looking for musicians with the following skills and attributes:

• Ability to work across musical genres
• Ability to improvise and create new music
• A passion for learning, exploring  and sharing music with others
• Ability to perform to a high level
• Ability to work in a team
• Positive attitude

We are open to working with musicians, with the above skills and attributes,  playing any instruments and musical styles but in particular are interested in musicians on the instruments listed below. Multi-instrumentalists/technologists are welcome as are singers who have other instrumental/technology skills.

• Bass Guitar
• Guitar
• Ableton Live/creative music technology
• Piano/Keyboard
• Voice/vocal facilitator
• Harp
• Strings/fiddle
